What is the purpose of $GLUE token?

1. Securing the Glue network: The $GLUE token will validate and secure the network, ensuring smooth and secure transactions across our Layer 1, and three Layer 2s.

2. Gas token: A minimal amount of $GLUE is required as a transaction fee to power each operation on the network.

3. Payments across the Glue Hub: Use $GLUE for transactions within the Glue Hub and our Service Layer.

4. Governance: Token holders are able to actively participate in shaping the future of Glue through governance and decision-making.

How To Participate

The sale has ended.

In the following guide we are going to use USDC on Base. If you are planning on participating on Solana, the steps are the same, just select Solana as your chain and connect your Solana wallet to continue.

First, select the chain you would like to use. Make sure you have enough for gas fees on your selected network. For this guide, let's use Base.

Now, select USDC or USDT. For this guide, let's use USDC.

You can now click on 'Connect Wallet'. For this guide, let's use MetaMask.

You will be prompted by MetaMask to 'Connect with MetaMask'. Click 'Connect'.

Now that your wallet is connected, you can see your wallet balance for the selected asset. In this case, USDC, and you can put in the amount you would like.

I connected the wrong wallet, what do I do?

It's not a problem at all.

• Your wallet address will be shown at the bottom.

• To change it, click on the address and select 'Manage Wallet'.

• 
• Click 'Switch Account' and connect your desired wallet.

• 

Make sure to review the 'Preview' on the right hand side of the screen. Once ready, click on 'Deposit'. MetaMask will then prompt you with the transaction. Click 'Confirm'.

We are also pleased to announce that we will be averaging down the purchase price for participants who acquired $GLUE during our “Mystery Validator Raise.”

• The highest sale price during the raise was $1.40, and the average price was $0.75.

• For anyone who purchased $GLUE above $0.75, your purchase price will be adjusted down to the average price of $0.75.

Please note: This adjustment will not impact those whose purchase price was already below $0.75.

Can I have an example of the averaging down?

Sure.

Lets say you purchased 1,000 GENESIS in the LBP at $1 per token. Without the averaging down, you would recieve 1,000 GLUE.

However, as the price is being adjusted in the interest of the community and early supporters, instead of 1,000 GLUE tokens, you will receive 1,333.33 GLUE tokens.

FAQ

I bought tokens but did not receive any $GLUE tokens!!!

You will receive $GLUE tokens at mainnet launch, at a rate of $0.85 per $GLUE.

We will make an announcement when your tokens are ready to claim!

Is there a Maximum buy per wallet?

We don’t currently have a hard maximum per wallet but we certainly reserve the right to return some funds if someone were to whale in $50,000,000 without communicating first.

Should I use the same wallet address that I used for the AlphaNet?

No, you are free to use which ever wallet address you like. The sale is open to everyone.

Does this token sale have vesting?

Short answer is: Fully liquid at TGE unless you do the lock-in bonuses.

Long Answer is: Participating in this sale offers flexibility based on your preference: if you opt not to lock up your tokens, they’ll be fully liquid at launch. However, choosing a lockup comes with rewards that can significantly enhance your allocation as communicated earlier. It's a trade-off between immediate liquidity and maximizing potential gains through lockup bonuses essentially.

Do I claim my tokens on the chain I deposited?

No, you'll be able to claim your $GLUE tokens on glue's chain when mainnet is launched.

Can I use my Ledger to participate?

Yes.

Where do I stake and unstake $GLUE?

Staking is not live yet and it is planed to go live shortly. Once live, it will take place on Glue Hub.

Where do the tokens for this sale come from?

The tokens up for sale in the current round are part of the foundation allocation. To learn more, refer to White Paper: Governance and Tokenomics At Gensis sections.

I participated in the LBP, can I take part in the sale?

Yes of course. Everyone is welcome.

I participated in the LBP, when do I get my tokens?

You will get your tokens and will have the option to stake them and lock them up for bonuses before the TGE and mainnet launch.
