# How to Buy $GLUE

## Step 1: Sign-in and Connect Your Wallet

Visit [https://hub.glue.net/trading ](<https://hub.glue.net/trading >)and connect your wallet.&#x20;

Select the wallet you want to connect. In this example we will proceed with Metamask.

Check the Portfolio Page to see if you have connected to the right wallet. Check the wallet icon at the top of the screen which should show the first and last digits of the wallet address.

## Step 2: Getting $USDCg on Glue

It’s necessary for you to have $USDC on Base, and also ETH on Base for gas fees.

You will need $USDCg to buy $GLUE, if you already have $USDCg then skip this step.&#x20;

Once your wallet is connected, go to Transfer & Pay and select Transfer to/from Glue.

Once there, you will have to bridge $USDC from Base to $USDCg Glue. Select the asset (USDC), select the chain, from Base to Glue. Enter the amount you want to bridge. Click Next.

Review and approve the transaction. Click “Increase allowance” to proceed.

MetaMask will prompt you with a spending cap request. Click 'Confirm'.&#x20;

Once confirmed, click on 'Approve Transaction'.

MetaMask will prompt you with a transaction request. Review the details and once happy, click 'Confirm'.&#x20;

Once you confirmed the transaction, wait for the funds to be transferred, this may take a few minutes.

You should receive a respective amount of $USDCg on Glue Network, you can go to the portfolio tab and check your $USDCg balance.

## Step 3: Buy $GLUE

Click Buy & Sell Crypto tab, and select GLUE. Click Buy GLUE and enter the amount.&#x20;

Switch network to Glue Mainnet if you are on another network on your MetaMask.&#x20;

Confirm the spending cap limit in MetaMask.
